Who we're looking for
Business Development & Sales Manager
You're the person who turns Alignz's expertise into revenue. You sell our full stack — strategy, design, tech consulting, and our Hosting platform — to SME owners and CTOs across DACH who are ready to move. You qualify hard, close deals, and build partnerships that stick. You work solo but you're not alone; you have the studio backing you.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Qualify and close inbound leads and opportunities across our full service portfolio, balancing pipeline quality over vanity metrics.
- →Build and execute outbound campaigns targeting SME owners and IT decision makers in Switzerland, Vorarlberg, and wider DACH.
- →Own partnership development with agencies, consultants, and complementary service providers who can refer or co-sell with us.
- →Present Alignz services to prospects with clarity and conviction, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes they care about.
- →Maintain and evolve your sales playbook based on what actually works — what objections kill deals, which messages resonate, which buyers convert.
- →Track pipeline health, forecast accurately, and report transparently on activity and results.
- →Collaborate with the studio team to shape offerings and pricing based on market feedback.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →Native German speaker, fluent English, based in DACH (Switzerland, Austria, or Liechtenstein preferred).
- →5+ years selling B2B services or software to SMEs or mid-market — you know how these buyers think and what slows decisions.
- →You have a track record of closing deals yourself, not just managing other people.
- →You're comfortable with both inbound qualification and outbound prospecting; you don't hide behind one or the other.
- →Honest self-awareness: you know your strengths, you know what you're learning, you're not afraid to ask for help or admit when something isn't working.
Senior Full-Stack Engineer
You'll own full-stack features on our Health Platform—from understanding what users need, to shipping code that handles real medical workflows. You'll work with a small, senior team that values clean architecture and actually cares about the product you're building. This is hands-on engineering, not committee meetings.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Build and deploy production features end-to-end using Next.js 15, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
- →Design and implement database schemas with Prisma that reflect the complexity of health data.
- →Write clear, testable code that your teammates will actually want to review.
- →Collaborate with designers and product on specs—push back when something doesn't make sense.
- →Own the performance and reliability of features you ship; monitor, debug, and iterate in production.
- →Mentor newer engineers through code review and pair sessions.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →5+ years shipping production code—frameworks and languages change, but you know how to build robust systems.
- →Strong TypeScript and React fundamentals; comfort with Next.js or similar full-stack frameworks.
- →Experience designing and optimizing relational databases; you understand trade-offs between normalization and query efficiency.
- →Ability to move fluidly between frontend and backend—you don't need to be equally expert in both, but you won't pretend complexity doesn't exist.
- →English fluency; German is nice but not required.
- →Bonus: experience in regulated or medical environments; you understand why healthcare demands rigor.
Product Manager Health
You'll own the product direction of Praxiz, our healthcare platform for medical practices across the DACH region. You'll navigate the messy intersection of clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and technical integration — balancing what doctors actually need with what's legally possible. This role needs someone who speaks both medical practice and engineering fluently.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Define and maintain the Praxiz product roadmap, informed by pilot practice feedback and regulatory landscape shifts.
- →Own the regulatory scope including DSGVO compliance, Austrian data retention rules, and Swiss EPD/EHDS integration requirements.
- →Lead integrations with practice management systems (PVS like Latido), DICOM/PACS workflows, and Modality Worklist standards.
- →Conduct discovery with medical practices to understand real clinical workflows and translate them into product requirements.
- →Bridge the gap between practice teams, engineers, and designers — pushing back on both sides when needed.
- →Monitor and advise on GDT 2.1 and other interoperability standards relevant to our user base.
- →Maintain relationships with key pilot practices and act as their primary contact for product feedback loops.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →Deep understanding of healthcare workflows and practice operations in Switzerland, Austria, or Germany — you've worked in or closely with medical practices.
- →Strong grasp of healthcare regulations (DSGVO, EPD, EHDS, Austrian data law) — not just theoretical knowledge.
- →Hands-on experience with medical IT integrations (DICOM, PACS, PVS systems, HL7, GDT) or willingness to get deep fast.
- →Fluent German (native speaker preferred); English working proficiency.
- →Ability to translate between clinical language and technical requirements without losing meaning.
- →Comfort with ambiguity and unfinished regulatory landscapes — you don't need all answers, but you ask the right questions.
UI/UX Designer
You'll design interfaces and experiences for complex products used by serious companies across Switzerland and the DACH region. You won't be pushing pixels in a vacuum—you'll partner directly with founders and product leaders who actually care about the outcome. Your work will shape how people interact with technology that matters.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Define and evolve the visual language and interaction patterns for products from concept through launch.
- →Own the full design process—from research and strategy to high-fidelity mockups and implementation support.
- →Challenge briefs and stakeholders when the brief is wrong; push back on mediocrity.
- →Collaborate with developers and founders to ensure your vision translates into real code without compromise.
- →Document your thinking and create design systems that actually get used.
- →Conducts usability research and user testing to validate assumptions before they become problems.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with shipped products you can show.
- →Strong portfolio demonstrating work across digital products (web and/or mobile). Show your process, not just pretty screens.
- →Fluency in design tools (Figma, Sketch, or equivalent). Prototyping skills are a bonus.
- →You can articulate why a design decision matters and defend it without being defensive.
- →German or English fluency. French/Italian is a plus. You'll work with clients and team members in the DACH region.
Sales Manager Health
You'll own half your time selling Praxiz — our SaaS platform for medical practices across the DACH region — to doctors and practice managers who've never heard of us. The other half, you'll support alignz's broader health-tech expansion. This is relationship sales in a regulated space: long cycles, trust-building, fluent German, and a genuine understanding of how clinics actually work.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Build and nurture relationships with practice owners and managers across AT, CH, and DE.
- →Lead full sales cycles for Praxiz from discovery through signature, managing medical and administrative decision-makers simultaneously.
- →Understand clinical workflows and compliance requirements (DSGVO, privacy, data residency) and translate them into technical value.
- →Represent Alignz in practice visits, product demos, and contract negotiations.
- →Collaborate with our product and implementation teams to shape the Praxiz roadmap based on market feedback.
- →Identify and pursue strategic healthcare partnerships and referral channels.
- →Report pipeline, forecasts, and market intelligence monthly.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in healthcare IT, medical practice software (PVS), or clinic-adjacent markets.
- →Native German speaker, based in the DACH region, willing to travel regularly to practices.
- →Deep familiarity with how medical practices operate, medical decision-making, and healthcare regulations (DSGVO, patient data sensitivity).
- →Track record closing deals with long sales cycles (3–12 months) and multiple stakeholders.
- →Comfort learning technical product details and translating them for non-technical audiences.
- →Entrepreneurial mindset — you thrive with autonomy and take ownership of the full funnel.
Operations & Finance Manager
You'll run the financial and operational backbone of three intertwined businesses—Alignz, Praxiz, and Alignz Hosting. This means invoicing, payroll, tax filings, vendor relationships, and keeping our finances clean and compliant. You're not a figurehead; you're the person who makes sure money moves right and nothing falls through the cracks.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Manage invoicing across Switzerland and the DACH region, including Swiss QR-Bills and EPC QR codes for EUR clients.
- →Handle accounts receivable, chasing payments and maintaining client relationships on financial matters.
- →Oversee expense management, reimbursements, and spend visibility across all three entities.
- →Coordinate payroll administration and work with external payroll services to ensure on-time, accurate salaries.
- →File MWST returns, VAT submissions, and maintain ongoing liaison with our Treuhänder for tax and accounting guidance.
- →Administer vendor contracts, purchase agreements, and manage supplier relationships to keep costs transparent.
- →Monitor cash flow, prepare monthly financial summaries, and alert leadership to financial risks or opportunities.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →Solid grounding in Swiss accounting principles and SME finance — you know how things work in the CH system.
- →Prior experience in a Swiss SME or Treuhand background is a real advantage; you've seen how this actually runs.
- →Fluent in German (native) and English; you'll communicate with clients and stakeholders in both.
- →Comfort with Swiss invoicing, MWST/VAT, and QR-Bill standards — this isn't theoretical.
- →Ability to juggle multiple entities and priorities without dropping things, stay organized, and spot discrepancies.
- →Willingness to work hybrid, with regular presence at our Zürich headquarters.
DevOps / Platform Engineer
You'll own the infrastructure that keeps Alignz and Praxiz running—from bare metal to application layer. You'll design systems, automate everything worth automating, and make sure healthcare data stays secure and available. This is hands-on work: you'll spend time in the cloud, in monitoring dashboards, and solving problems before clients notice them.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Design, deploy, and maintain production infrastructure on Hetzner using Coolify, Traefik, PostgreSQL, and MinIO
- →Build and operate secure WireGuard tunnels connecting client practices to cloud infrastructure
- →Own DICOM/PACS architecture with Orthanc, Modality Worklist, and practice-to-cloud workflows
- →Automated client onboarding: provisioning accounts, databases, credentials, and access without manual overhead
- →Monitoring, alerting, and hardening—keep systems observable and resilient
- →Backup strategy and disaster recovery testing—data loss is not an option
- →On-call rotation: respond to incidents, debug, and fix
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →5+ years ops/platform/infrastructure experience—you've owned production systems end-to-end
- →Strong Linux fundamentals: shell scripting, networking, security concepts
- →Practical container and orchestration knowledge (Docker, systemd, Kubernetes exposure helps)
- →Comfort with infrastructure-as-code, observability tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
- →Bonus: DICOM/PACS familiarity, healthcare data handling, or medical device connectivity experience
- →Professional German or English; remote within DACH
IT Support Engineer Health
You'll be the technical backbone for medical practices across Vorarlberg and Eastern Switzerland. You handle their infrastructure problems, keep their networks running, and pilot new practice management systems—working hands-on from troubleshooting calls to on-site visits. This is 10% of your time, but it's where you'll see real impact.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Support medical practices with IT incidents across Unifi networks, Grandstream phone systems, Synology NAS storage, and Windows/macOS endpoints, responding to practice-side requests within agreed SLAs
- →Conduct on-site visits to diagnose infrastructure issues, perform maintenance, and implement solutions with minimal disruption to patient care
- →Manage Praxiz pilot installations at new partner practices, configure systems, train staff, and document setup procedures
- →Maintain inventory and documentation of systems, configurations, and known issues across all supported practices
- →Troubleshoot and resolve DICOM/PACS-related technical problems where they arise
- →Coordinate with Praxiz team and practice staff to plan updates, maintenance windows, and system changes
- →Provide first-level technical guidance to practice staff on common issues and system usage
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →Fluent German speaker (native level preferred) and comfortable speaking directly with practice staff and clinicians
- →Driving licence and based in or near the AT–CH border region (Vorarlberg/Eastern Switzerland area)
- →Hands-on experience with Unifi networking, Grandstream UCM systems, Synology NAS, and Windows/macOS endpoint management
- →Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues methodically and communicate solutions clearly to non-technical users
- →Basic familiarity with DICOM/PACS systems or willingness to learn quickly
- →Reliability and flexibility—you'll handle urgent incidents and adapt to practice schedules
Marketing & Content Lead DACH
You own how alignz, Praxiz, and alignz Hosting show up in the market. That means writing case studies that actually sell, translating what our founders and engineers build into language that makes sense to Swiss healthcare and SME buyers, and keeping our content machine running across LinkedIn, websites, and positioning docs. You're comfortable in technical territory but fluent in business outcomes — and you know when to push back on unclear thinking.
[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]
- →Write and manage case studies and content pieces that connect technical solutions to real business problems for DACH buyers.
- →Own LinkedIn presence for alignz — posts, engagement strategy, founder visibility.
- →Maintain and refresh website copy in German and English, keeping messaging coherent across products.
- →Drive SEO strategy and execution for alignz, Praxiz, and alignz Hosting — identify opportunities, brief writers, track performance.
- →Work directly with founders to extract their thinking, challenge unclear positioning, and turn it into clear market language.
- →Handle light brand work — tone guidelines, messaging frameworks, visual copy — as the studio grows.
[ REQUIREMENTS ]
- →Native German speaker with strong English writing skills — you move between both languages without friction.
- →Proven experience in B2B SaaS or IT services marketing — you know how technical companies sell and who buys from them.
- →Comfortable translating between technical and business language without dumbing things down.
- →Self-directed — you work remote, own your priorities, and don't need hand-holding to start. You push back when briefings are unclear.
- →Some SEO and content strategy background — not necessarily expert, but you know how it works and can brief writers effectively.
- →Willingness to learn healthcare and Swiss market context — you're smart and curious, not an expert walking in.
